In 1989 I graduated from Aleppo University in Electronic division . I was appointed assistant lecturer to carry out teaching duties. This involved teaching modules for different years, mainly higher year students. As a part of my work, I was granted a scholarship to carry on my studies to obtain a Ph.D. in Computer Technology.

In 1998 I started my Ph.D. at Cardiff University in the area of Computer Technology. i.e. ECG Classification using Artificial intelligence .
My work focused on the following points:

  • Developing new techniques for Ecg Classification using Neural Networks. 
  • During my study I tried many types of NN like Radial Basis Function , KNN , MLP, and LVQ .
  • As well I tried one type of Machine Learning Called C4 using Clementine Software.
  • And now I am looking to Develope or modify LVQ network to get better performance.
